Global Cataclysm: Starting with a 1000-acre survival base

Chapter 10 Upgrading Machine Guns

Li Ang watched the drone above his head still not moving, with a bitter expression on his face.

Li Cheng was seriously short of food, and the guards like them could only drink two bowls of porridge a day.

Ordinary people can only eat one meal a day, a bowl of porridge.

Even Li Cheng’s boss, Li Changcheng, began to save food and eat two meals of rice every day.

And they have already contacted all the surrounding survival bases, but none of them are willing to exchange food with them.

Because a few days ago, that is, the day before Su Yuan built the survival base.

All survival bases have been attacked by ants and beasts.

Even at a depth of 500 meters or even deeper underground, snake ants will chew away a concrete wall more than ten meters thick.

Snake ants will eat anything and can eat everything that stands in their way.

The Licheng Survival Base was quite unlucky, as the base for planting and storing food was devoured by snake ants.

Li Ang and his men came out and drove for several hours, and they were already so hungry that their chests were stuck to their backs.

A hideous-looking bald man next to Li Ang couldn’t help but say:

”Captain Li, what should we do? If it doesn’t work, let’s grab it!”

Li Ang slapped the bald head angrily.

”Huzi, you are so brave! Look at this steel city wall, which can’t be broken by shells, and the people who dare to build a survival base on the ground can be ordinary people? With the few of us, why don’t we go up to die!”

”Captain Li, what do you think? If there is no more food, the brothers will starve to death!” Huzi said pitifully.

”Wait!” Li Ang was confused. He didn’t know what kind of person built the survival base in front of him. It didn’t exist a few days ago, but it suddenly appeared, like a dream.

When he came, Li Changcheng told him not to have any conflicts even if he couldn’t get food in exchange.

Su Yuan stepped on the stairs and climbed up the steel city wall. He was wearing a protective mechanical exoskeleton, and his entire face was covered by a shield. No one could see what he looked like.

”Xiaoyu, let them come over!”

”Okay, master!”

The unmanned attack aircraft quickly climbed up, side by side with the unmanned reconnaissance aircraft, and hovered about 500 meters above Li Ang and the others.

Li Ang also saw Su Yuan, and led his men to the edge of the steel city wall, raising his head to look at Su Yuan.

”My friend, we are sincerely here in exchange for food!”

”Old iron, I can exchange food for you, just as you said 10 to 1 supplies! In addition, if you can get a complete animal carcass, I can also exchange it with you, no matter how big or small, a strange animal can be exchanged for 10 catties of food !”

Li Ang was overjoyed. Alien beasts are useless to ordinary bases, and they dare not eat them. There are only some research and development bases that can study alien beasts and make some genetic potions.

”I don’t know, friend, what supplies do you need, steel, cloth, fuel, gasoline, everything is fine!”

”Old Tie, I want everything, scrap steel, old mechanical equipment, gasoline, cloth, fuel, as much as you have, you can come and exchange it with me!”

Li Ang was overjoyed, old mechanical equipment and scrap steel were the least valuable, unexpectedly Su Yuan was willing to exchange them.

”Friend, in order to show our sincerity, we will prepay [-] kilograms of gold, and tomorrow we will send supplies to exchange with you!”

One hundred kilograms of gold?
Su Yuan didn’t expect Li Ang to be so generous, and said excitedly:

”Xiaoyu, how many survival points can one hundred kilograms of gold exchange for?”

”Master, gold is also a common metal, which means 1000 survival points!”

Su Yuan was greatly disappointed. Gold was worthless in front of the system, so he lost interest in gold immediately.

Seeing a machine gun behind the off-road vehicle, Su Yuan’s eyes lit up.

”Old man, I don’t want the gold anymore, just keep that machine gun, I’ll give you a thousand kilograms of soybeans, and I won’t let you come for nothing for the first time!”

Li Ang was stunned for a moment, and looked at Su Yuan in disbelief.

Gold is a hard currency, and there is no base that does not want it.

Although he didn’t know why, Li Ang bowed to Su Yuan very gratefully.

”My friend, my name is Li Ang. You will be our Li Cheng’s benefactor from now on. If there is anything that needs Li Cheng, just say it! We will do our best in Li Cheng!”

Su Yuan was a little surprised. He didn’t expect that a thousand kilograms of grain would get the friendship of a survival base.

However, it seems that he doesn’t need other survival bases to help him do anything now.

Afterwards, Su Yuan spent one hundred points from the shopping mall to buy ten sacks, and asked the instant noodles to pack a thousand kilograms of the first mature soybeans and give them to Li Ang.

Li Ang asked someone to unload the machine gun from the off-road vehicle, put it aside, loaded it with soybeans, and rushed back to Licheng.

Su Yuan placed the machine gun above the gate of the steel city wall.

The gate of the steel city wall is also an automatic titanium alloy gate, 15 meters wide and 10 meters high, which is as thick as the steel city wall.

Ding, I checked that the host got a machine gun, do you want to spend 30 survival points to upgrade it to a multi-function machine gun?
”upgrade!”

[Multi-function machine gun: It can shoot ordinary level 2 beasts.1 million Survival Points are required to upgrade to Level 500 of the fully automatic machine gun! 】

”Continue to upgrade!”

[Full-automatic machine gun Level 1: Power-driven, can shoot ordinary Level 3 beasts, can be bound to the system, and attack independently! 】

[Upgrade to level 2 fully automatic machine gun, 600 million survival points, shooting range 500 meters. 】

Su Yuan upgraded the fully automatic machine gun to level 2 again, and did not upgrade it again.

Because Li Ang only left 3000 rounds of bullets, the fully automatic machine gun is useless when the bullets run out.

Su Yuan decided that it was necessary to build his own arsenal.

But you have to wait until you get more points.

Su Yuan planted in the morning, and after recycling, he earned 3500 million survival points. After upgrading the land in the afternoon, the yield increased. After deducting the 1000 kilograms of grain given to Li Ang, he still earned more than 7400 million survival points.

So Su Yuan now has 1.34 million survival points in his hands.

Because the newly added fully automatic chicken coop, automatic dome and drone all need to be charged.

Two ordinary wind generators can no longer meet Suyuan’s current power needs.

Su Yuan spent another 5000 million survival points to upgrade the two wind power generators to multi-functional wind power generators.

[Multi-functional wind power generator, anti-cold current, anti-high temperature, generating 2000 kWh per hour! 】

[Upgrade to level 1 automatic wind generator, 5 million survival points.Generate 10000 kWh per hour! 】

Su Yuan spent another 5000 million yuan to buy an automatic warehouse with constant temperature and humidity covering an area of 10 mu to store grain and exchange materials with Li Ang.

[Automatic storage warehouse Level 1, which can store 10 kilograms of grain or corresponding materials, is divided into three floors, one above ground and two underground! 】

In the evening, Su Yuan had enough to eat and drink, and picked up his mobile phone to play Tetris.

In a blink of an eye, it was the next day. The morning was uneventful, and no strange beasts were encountered.

But today’s temperature rose suddenly, and by noon, the temperature was close to 40 degrees.

Extremely hot and cold, common in times of cataclysm.

The temperature in the Suyuan Survival Base is very comfortable, kept at around 25 degrees.

Ding, congratulations to the host on the 11nd day of life in the era of catastrophe, rewarding 1 survival points.

After the reward arrived, Su Yuan was ready to have lunch.
