‘Sect Leader Yu Jian Cheng of the Thousand Tribulations Sword Sect was a Six Combos Celestial Lord before he reached the age of 1,000?’ Through the conversations in his surroundings, Duan Ling Tian learned that the sect leader of the Thousand Tribulations Celestial Sect, one of the three most powerful grade-one forces in the Nan Dou Territory, was a prodigy. He thought to himself confidently, ‘Based on the unbreakable record he left behind, his comprehension of the law must be extraordinary as well…’

After a while, Duan Ling Tian finally reached the towering mountain, one of the Peaks of Gravity in the Genius Secret Realm. At this moment, there were more than thirty people gathered at the foot of the mountain.

‘It seems like there are many people who are qualified to enter the Genius Secret Realm…’ Duan Ling Tian had learned earlier that there were 99 Peaks of Gravity in the Genius Secret Realm. Just the Peak of Gravity in front of him alone had more than thirty people gathering around it at this moment. Many more people were still making their way here. Based on this, it could be seen that there were many people who met the requirements to enter the Genius Secret Realm.

Duan Ling Tian continued thinking to himself, ‘On second thought, it’s not that surprising. Although Celestial Lords below the age of 1,000 are rare, the Nan Dou Territory is vast. There should be no lack of geniuses in the territory. Moreover, the Genius Secret Realm isn’t exclusive to the people of the Nan Dou Territory. People from other territories can enter as well….’

The Nan Dou Territory was the only territory without a titled Celestial Emperor ruling over it. The de facto ruler of the territory was the three most powerful grade-one forces in the territory. For this reason, there was a lot of tension between the grade-one forces. Sometimes when the members of the grade-one forces met each other outside, they would even fight to the death. This was also considered a way for them to gain combat experience.

‘I wonder if Ling Jue Yun will come.’ Duan Ling Tian could not help but recall Ling Jue Yun whom he had split the Heaven Sacrificial Divine Fruits with in the Equal Heaven Territory.

Ling Jue Yun was originally from the Divine Offering Land. It could be said that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

Since Duan Ling Tian had a breakthrough and became a Celestial Lord, he thought Ling Jue Yun should have become a Celestial Lord as well.

Meanwhile, the attention of the people at the foot of the Peak of Gravity was focused on Huan’er due to her peerless beauty. It was only when a voice rang in the air that everyone’s attention shifted away from her.

“Look! It is Thousand Hands Devil Sect’s Ye Yu Chen! He’s already climbing the Peak of Gravity!”

Duan Ling Tian instinctively looked up and saw a figure climbing the Peak of Gravity.

From afar, the Peak of Gravity looked like an ordinary mountain. However, now that he was at the foot of the mountain, Duan Ling Tian could see many steps leading up to the peak. The height between the steps was roughly ten meters tall.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The black figure swiftly climbed up the steps. In just a blink of an eye, he had already climbed up 1,000 steps. In other words, he was now 10,000 meters in the air.

It was unknown if it was intentional, but the clouds in the Genius Secret Realm were 30,000 meters aboveground. One would have to climb 3,000 steps to reach the clouds. This meant that the black figure had climbed one-third of that distance.

“Ye Yu Chen? He’s the prodigy from the Thousand Hands Devil Sect who’s a Four Phenomena Celestial Lord below the age of 1,000?”

“That’s right! I’ve met him once. There’s no doubt that person is him!”

“Ye Yu Chen is among the top three prodigies below the age of 1,000 in the Thousand Hands Devil Sect. I wonder how he’ll fare here…”

“The Genius Secret Realm opens once every 1,000 years and only Celestial Lords below the age of 1,000 are allowed to enter. This means that it’s everyone’s first time in here…”

“Among the grade-one young prodigies below the age of 1,000, Ye Yu Chen can barely rank in the upper-middle tier..”

Duan Ling Tian had never heard of the Thousand Hands Devil Sect’s Ye Yu Chen before this. Over the past years, he had stayed in the Snow Horizon Celestial Sect and did not care about the affairs of the world. For this reason, he was unfamiliar with the young prodigies from grade-one forces. It was only when he heard the conversation in his surroundings that he learned the person climbing the Peak of Gravity was the Thousand Hands Devil Sect’s Ye Yu Chen.

“Huan’er, let’s go,” Duan Ling Tian called out to Huan’er. He could see the others had no intention of climbing the Peak of Gravity yet.

The duo walked hand in hand toward the steps of the Peak of Gravity. When they drew close to the steps, a gentle but powerful force separated them. Based on this, it was obvious that one could only rely on their own strength to climb the Peak of Gravity.

Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er’s actions, naturally, drew everyone’s attention.

“They’re going to climb up the Peak of Gravity!”

“I feel inexplicably happy that they’re separated even though I don’t know them…”

“That woman is such a peerless beauty. It’s normal that most men are jealous of him. You’re not the only one; I’m also happy to see them being separated.”

As though Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er had spurred them into action, more than ten people followed suit and began to climb up the Peak of Gravity.

“Let’s go!”

“That’s right! What’s the point of waiting? We should test our strength at the Peak of Gravity. Moreover, if you’re able to rise past 20,000 meters, your name will be shown to everyone! It’ll appear on all 99 Peaks of Gravity!”

“Is that true? I want my name to be shown to everyone!”

…

Not too long after, Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er reached the 1,000th step of the Peak of Gravity at the same time. They were now 10,000 meters aboveground.

“It’s true; the higher we are, the stronger the gravity.”

At this moment, the duo had yet to feel the pressure from the gravity. Moreover, it was obvious their speed of ascent was faster than the Thousand Hands Devil Sect’s Ye Yu Chen.

…

Back at the foot of the mountain, those who had yet to climb the Peak of Gravity had, naturally, noticed Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er’s progress. Stunned by the duo’s progress, they began to discuss among themselves.

“Who are they? They made it to the 1,000th step faster than Ye Yu Chen did!”

“I don’t know… However, they look like they’re from a grade-one force.”

“I don’t think so. If they’re from a grade-one force, it’s impossible that none of us recognizes them.”

“Perhaps, they’re closed-door disciples of a high-ranking official from a grade-one force. It’s possible that they were keeping a low profile before this and planned to make a name for themselves in the Genius Secret Realm!”

“There’s also a possibility they’re just grassroots prodigies.”

…

Meanwhile, when Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er reached the 1100th step, Duan Ling Tian looked up and saw the Thousand Hands Devil Sect’s Ye Yu Chen. ‘Ye Yu Chen’s speed has slowed down considerably after the 1600th steps. It’s obvious he’s beginning to feel the pressure from the gravity.”

At this moment, Ye Yu Chen had not even reached the 1,700th step.

On the contrary, Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er’s speed of ascent did not slow down at all. It did not take long before the duo caught up with Ye Yu Chen after the 1,800th step.

“Hm?” At this moment, Ye You Chen who was clad head to toe in black had an expression of surprise on his usually expressionless face when he saw two people had caught up to him. He was even more surprised when he discovered he did not recognize the duo.

‘Grassroot prodigies?’ As a prodigy of a grade-one force, Ye You Chen was absolutely certain the duo was not from a grade-one force. The young prodigies from grade-one forces would have gatherings occasionally, and he had attended all of them. He had met all the young prodigies from grade-one forces, therefore, he was certain the duo was not from a grade-one force.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Soon after, Ye Yu Chen saw Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er swiftly overtake him. In just a blink of an eye, the duo had reached the 1,900th step.

“The law of space!” Based on the greyish glow of Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er’s Celestial Origin Energies, Ye Yu Chen could tell the duo had comprehended the law of space.

…

Meanwhile, a commotion broke out at the foot of the Peak of Gravity when everyone saw Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er’s speed. With this, they were certain the duo would easily make it to the 2,000th step.

At this time, a list of names could be seen at the Peak of Gravity. Next to the names were the steps that they were currently at. The steps next to the names kept changing. For example, Baili Sheng, who was ranked second at the 2113th step, rose to first place when his steps changed.

“They’ve overtaken Ye Yu Chen!”

“From the beginning until now, they’ve yet to slow down at all! I’m certain they’ll make it to the 2,000th step at least.”

“Look! Names are beginning to appear at the Peak of Gravity. There’s the Ancient Phoenix Clan’s You Ping Zhi, the Baili Clan’s Baili Sheng, and the Heavenly Profound Dao Sect’s Ouyang Chen! There’s also…”

While everyone’s eyes were trained on the names above the Peak of Gravity…

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er finally reached the 2,000th step.

As soon as he stepped foot onto the 2,000th step, he felt a pressure bearing down on him. The force of the gravity here was on a different level from the steps below.

“Brother Ling Tian… The force of gravity is getting stronger…” Huan’er said through Voice Transmission.

“I feel it too,” Duan Ling Tian replied.

The duo endured the increasing pressure and continued climbing the Peak of Gravity when a voice rang in their ears.

“Name please.”

When the duo looked up, they saw a writing brush in front of them. It was not incorporeal; they could hold it in their hands when they reached out. Clearly, they were meant to write their names using the brush.

When Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er finished writing their names, their names appeared immediately above the Peak of Gravity.

Huan’er 2,000th step.

Duan Ling Tian 2,000th step.

With this, everyone near the Peak of Gravity could see their names.
