Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

202: Chapter 202 AI AuthorizationThe square downstairs of Tianxing Group was filled with business cars from overseas companies, and representatives in suits and leather shoes were waiting in the reception room.

In the conference room, the long conference table was neatly arranged, and a thick pile of documents was stacked on the table—all AI licensing applications submitted by companies from all over the world. Zhang Kai and Li Yue each held a tablet in their hands, their faces filled with undisguised excitement.

Chen Mo sat at the head of the table as usual, his expression calm and his eyes peaceful, showing no ripples, as if the grand occasion of thousands of companies fighting for authorization before him had nothing to do with him.

”Mr. Chen, you must take a look!”

Zhang Kai walked quickly to Chen Mo, handed over the tablet, and said: ”In just one night, over a thousand companies from around the world have submitted AI licensing applications. Those top-tier companies in Europe and America have offered prices 50% higher than the 5G licensing fee, just begging to get priority authorization. Many companies have also said that as long as they can cooperate, they will agree to any conditions!”

Li Yue also smiled and added: ”Mr. Chen, several companies from South Korea have also submitted applications. Their attitude is extremely low, saying they are willing to accept all our conditions and even pay an extra sum of money. But I don’t think they have any sincerity; they just want to sponge off our AI technology.”

Chen Mo glanced at the list of applications on the tablet and said indifferently: ”What’s the rush? The initiative is in our hands; there is no need to accommodate them. Since they want to get the license, they have to play by our rules.”

Zhang Kai nodded quickly and said: ”Yes, yes, yes, Mr. Chen, you are right! We are the boss now, and we must set the rules! Tell us, how should we set them, and we will go and communicate them immediately!”

He felt wonderful inside; now that global companies were begging Tianxing, this feeling was too great.

Li Yue was also waiting for Chen Mo’s orders; she had long disliked those South Korean companies.

Chen Mo said: ”There are three rules. Remember them well, communicate them down, and do not accept any bargaining.”

”Alright, Mr. Chen, please say it, I am recording!” Zhang Kai quickly prepared to record.

”First, the AI license fee will have a 50% premium over the 5G license fee. It must be paid in full at once. Not a penny less, and installment payments are not accepted. Those who have no money or are dragging their feet, cross them out directly.”

Chen Mo paused and continued: ”Second, prioritize licensing to our Huaxia Technology companies. Domestic companies will not have the premium and will even get a 10% discount. Prioritize arranging technical docking to let them land and commercialize as soon as possible. Our own people must benefit first.”

”That’s perfect, Mr. Chen!” Zhang Kai said from the side. ”What about the third rule?”

”The third rule, and also the most important one.” Chen Mo said: ”Those overseas companies that used to suppress Huaxia Technology and hold us back, as well as all South Korean companies, are categorically refused authorization. There is no room for negotiation. If those top-tier European and American companies want the license, in addition to paying the license fee, they must also pay an additional deposit. If they dare to violate the rules, the license will be terminated immediately, and we will pursue their liability to make them pay the price.”

Li Yue’s eyes lit up and she said: ”Mr. Chen, you are so domineering! That’s how it should be done! Those South Korean companies, and those who suppressed us before, don’t deserve to get our AI license at all!”

She felt particularly relieved.

Zhang Kai also nodded repeatedly and said: ”Understood! I will immediately sync these three rules to all applicant companies. Whoever doesn’t accept them will be directly removed, no mercy!”

”Go ahead, be quick. Within three days, finalize the first batch of partners, prioritizing the domestic companies.” Chen Mo waved his hand and said in a flat tone: ”In addition, regarding Lin Hao, let him fine-tune the AI technology as soon as possible, provide good technical support, and ensure that the licensed companies can successfully land and commercialize without any errors.”

”Rest assured, Mr. Chen, we guarantee to complete the task!” Zhang Kai and Li Yue responded in unison and turned to walk out.

As soon as the two walked into the reception room, they met the overseas company representatives waiting there. They crowded around one by one, asking about the authorization in a hubbub.

”Mr. Zhang, Ms. Li, may I ask, when will there be a result for our license application? We are willing to pay more, as long as we can get priority authorization!” A representative of a top-tier European and American company quickly stepped forward, his tone humble, his face full of fawning.

Zhang Kai stopped, put away his smile, and said with a serious tone: ”Everyone, be quiet. Our Mr. Chen has already set the authorization rules. Now I am conveying them to you. We do not accept any bargaining. First, the AI license fee is 50% higher than the 5G license fee, to be paid in full at once; second, prioritize licensing to Huaxia companies; third, companies that have suppressed Huaxia Technology and all South Korean companies are categorically refused authorization. Top-tier European and American companies must pay an additional deposit.”

As soon as these words came out, the scene instantly exploded.

”50% premium? And it has to be paid in full at once? This is too high!” A representative of a small company couldn’t help but say, his face full of difficulty; they simply couldn’t afford that much money.

Zhang Kai glanced at him coldly and said: ”If you think it’s too high, you don’t have to apply. There are plenty of companies waiting behind; no one is begging you to cooperate. When you were suppressing Huaxia Technology, why didn’t you think about today?”

The representative’s face turned red and then white. He opened his mouth, but in the end, he didn’t dare to speak again. He could only retreat to the side in dismay, full of regret in his heart. He shouldn’t have followed the trend to suppress Huaxia Technology; now he was about to lose even the qualification for authorization.

The representatives of the top European and American companies, although they felt the premium was too high and they had to pay a deposit, could only bite the bullet and agree: ”We accept! We are willing to pay the premium and the deposit. Please, Mr. Zhang, Ms. Li, give us priority!”

They knew in their hearts that if they couldn’t get Tianxing’s AI license, they would definitely be eliminated by the market in the future. This bit of money was nothing compared to the survival of the company.

Just then, several representatives of South Korean companies squeezed over, their faces full of humbleness, bowing continuously to Zhang Kai and Li Yue and saying: ”Mr. Zhang, Ms. Li, please make an exception. We are willing to accept all conditions and pay as much money as you want, just to get the AI license. We really can’t be eliminated again!”

Li Yue looked at them and said with disdain in her tone: ”Make an exception? No way. Our Mr. Chen said that all South Korean companies are categorically refused authorization. There is no room for negotiation. You should go back; don’t waste time here.”

”Why? We have already lowered our status and are willing to pay the price. Please give us another chance!” The South Korean representative was anxious, his face full of despair. They knew that if they couldn’t get the AI license, their companies would soon go completely bankrupt.

”There is no why, this is our rule.” Zhang Kai said with a tough tone: ”When you mocked Huaxia Technology for being incompetent and suppressed us, why didn’t you think there would be today? Now begging us, it’s too late!”

After finishing, he and Li Yue turned and left, leaving a group of desperate South Korean representatives standing on the spot, at a loss.

Back at the office, Zhang Kai and Li Yue worked non-stop to connect with companies, screen the application list, and quickly finalize partners according to the rules set by Chen Mo.

In just one day, 25 core partners were finalized, 20 of which were domestic companies, and 3 were top-tier European and American companies. The license fees for all companies were paid on the spot, and Tianxing’s cash flow hit a new high.

In the evening, Zhang Kai and Li Yue came to Chen Mo’s office again to report the situation.

”Mr. Chen, it’s done!” Zhang Kai said excitedly: ”25 partners were finalized in one day, and the license fees have all arrived. Domestic companies have already arranged technical docking, and the three European and American companies have also paid the deposit and promised to strictly abide by our rules.”

Li Yue also said from the side: ”Mr. Chen, those South Korean companies are still guarding downstairs, refusing to leave, but we have never relented. There are also a few European and American companies that once suppressed us, begging for an exception, and we have also directly refused them according to your requirements.”

Chen Mo nodded slightly and said in a flat tone: ”Well done. How is Lin Hao doing? Is the AI technology fine-tuned?”

”I just contacted Lin Hao. He said the fine-tuning is finished and it can be docked with the licensed companies at any time to ensure there are no errors in commercialization.” Zhang Kai said quickly.

”Good.” Chen Mo nodded and said: ”For the next three days, Zhang Kai, you are responsible for docking with domestic companies and accelerating commercial landing; Li Yue, you dock with those three European and American companies and keep a close eye on their deposit and rule execution; let Lin Hao be responsible for full technical support. If there are any problems, report them in time.”

”Understood, Mr. Chen!” The two responded in unison.

Just as the two were about to leave, Li Yue suddenly remembered something and said quickly: ”Mr. Chen, I found that those South Korean companies we refused, as well as a few European and American companies that had suppressed us, gathered together in private. It seems they are plotting something and looking sneaky. Should we send someone to keep an eye on them?”

The corner of Chen Mo’s mouth hooked into a cold smile: ”No need to keep a special eye on them. They can’t stir up any trouble. Tell Lin Hao to upgrade the AI intelligent security system again and guard our core technology. As long as they dare to engage in small actions, catch them on the spot and never be lenient.”

”Okay, Mr. Chen!” Li Yue nodded quickly.
