I’m really just an NPC

Chapter 24

Chapter 24

Rondo grinned grimly, and slowly pulled the trigger. He seemed to have seen the scene of Lin Fan being shot and fell to the ground, and his heart felt as refreshed as if he had eaten an iced watermelon in summer.

swoosh~
A big mouse suddenly came out from under Rondo’s feet and bit Rondo’s wrist holding the gun.

boom!
The pistol held by Rondo fired, but the accuracy was no longer there. The shot turned into a ricochet and hit the arm of a soldier next to Lin Fan.

This soldier was the one who had previously shot Lin Fan on the frying pan. He was concentrating on aiming at the mutated mouse when he was suddenly shot in the shoulder. He was so painful that he sucked in cold air. His body subconsciously tilted, and the gun in his hand went off again. , shoot out a bullet.

The bullet seemed to have eyes, and it hit Rondo’s thigh in retaliation.

”Ahhh~”

Rondo covered the shot site with his hands and let out a horrible scream, fell to the ground, his legs twitched, and he rolled around.

Worse things are yet to come.

The truck was surrounded by rat poison, that is, a stimulant mixed with black bread, and the smell of sweet wood root was something that rats liked.

At this time, Rondo rolled around, covered in stimulant potion, and coupled with the stimulation of blood, he suddenly became a favorite in the eyes of mutant mice.

swoosh~
One mutant mouse after another rushed towards Rondo, and in a blink of an eye seven or eight mice fell on Rondo, opening their mouths indiscriminately.

The more the mouse gnawed, the more excited it became, and the more excited it became, the more it gnawed. Rondo’s screams were heartbreaking, and then became weaker and weaker.

”Gan!”

Lin Fan took a step forward and rushed towards Rondo.

Wang Yanran pulled Lin Fan back: ”Don’t go, get on the truck quickly, Rondo can’t save him.”

I didn’t want to save him, I just wanted to go up and step on his feet.

This turtle grandson who can only shoot badly!

However, Lin Fan saw that there were more and more rats on Rondo’s body, and he had nowhere to go, so he followed Wang Yanran’s pull and stopped.

Lin Fan turned his head to look at the soldier who was hit by Rondo in the shoulder just now: ”Are you okay?”

”It’s...it’s okay, it’s scratched.” The soldier felt very uneasy at this moment. He knew Rondo’s identity, and he was afraid that Rondo’s father would retaliate against him next.

”Don’t be afraid, just focus on killing mice. If we want to get out alive, everyone needs to contribute.” Lin Fan comforted, ”Rondo was killed by mice, he died in the line of duty, he is a hero, we will remember him .”

The soldier nodded gratefully to Lin Fan, and then mustered up the courage to continue to break out towards the truck.

”Quick, quick, the truck key is not pulled out, go up and start the car quickly.”

Lin Fan didn’t move, so he wouldn’t be a driver.

If you can’t shoot accurately while driving, this is tantamount to increasing the danger of your own life.

An inner city soldier climbed into the cockpit and started the car.

Dirty~
The engine roared, and Wang Yanran shouted: ”I’m covering, all soldiers get into the car quickly.”

Lin Fan was the first to climb up, holding a pistol and shooting at the mutated mice around the truck, covering for other soldiers to get on the truck.

slap~
Wang Yanran swept away the rats nearby with a whip, and all the soldiers climbed into the car.

”drive.”

Dirty~
The truck started.

Wang Yanran leaped vigorously, borrowing strength from her left hand, and lightly jumped into the truck compartment, and let out a long sigh of relief.

”Follow the street towards the inner city. There are high-rise buildings over there. You can stay there and wait for help. The inner city’s support should be coming soon.”

filthy filthy~
The truck speeded up, roaring like a monster, knocking and crushing all the mice blocking the way.

”Aotian, good job, I didn’t embarrass the teacher.” Wang Yanran patted Lin Fan’s shoulder, ”Come to the inner city in the future, I will arrange for you to be a soldier in the inner city. I study medicine.”

”Okay, okay.”

Lin Fan naturally wouldn’t refuse.

To be honest, Lin Fan now admires Wang Yanran quite a lot - he is brave and resourceful, has outstanding martial arts, and has a leadership style.

One thing to say, if Lin Fan hadn’t accidentally killed Wang Teng and Laifu, two inner city residents, he would really be willing to hang out with Wang Yanran in the inner city for a while by taking this opportunity.

”Save us, save us.”

At this time, there was a cry for help from the front.

Of course, because of the noise of the car engine, only Wang Yanran could identify the direction of the call for help at the first time.

Everyone followed Wang Yanran’s gaze and found a man, a woman and a little girl standing on a roof near the street, waving their hands and calling for help.

They are a family of three, and they climbed onto the roof as soon as the rat wave happened, and escaped the fatal crisis by luck.

But their lives were still at stake, as the streets and yards under their feet were infested with rats, and they were trapped.

Everyone on the truck immediately looked at Wang Yanran, waiting for her to make up her mind.

Wang Yanran said coldly: ”If you don’t save me, just leave.”

Lin Fan had no turmoil in his heart, and he couldn’t deny Wang Yanran’s actions.

To be honest, if Lin Fan were Wang Yanran, he probably wouldn’t be able to save him.

After all, it was too dangerous, and Lin Fan would not joke with his own life.

Seeing the truck roaring past in front of them, the hope of the family of three was shattered. The hostess couldn’t help but cursed: ”Fuck, you damn inner city people.”

At this moment, Wang Yanran moved.

She suddenly reached out and snatched a gun from the soldier beside her, aiming at the roof casually.

Bang bang bang!
With three shots in the face, the family of three rolled to the ground in astonishment, overwhelmed by the mutated mice.

Lin Fan froze, opened his mouth, but didn’t say anything.

He didn’t hear what the woman yelled just now, but he saw the way the woman jumped in frustration, and guessed that the words that came out of her mouth were dirty words.

Can……

Wang Yanran suddenly killed someone, which seemed a bit too cruel.

No, Wang Yanran didn’t regard outsiders as human beings at all. In his eyes, outsiders were even worse than animals!

Lin Fan remembered Wang Yanran’s attitude towards him when he first met Wang Yanran, and suddenly realized: Wang Yanran was indeed an inner-city person, and she was incompatible with him.

It’s still better to stay away.

filthy filthy~
The truck roared, ran over the mice, and headed towards the inner city.

The inner city soldiers in the car obviously didn’t care about the death of the family of three. The rat tide’s sense of crisis was no longer so urgent. They gradually relaxed and started talking to each other.

swoosh~
At this moment, a figure suddenly appeared in the alley not far behind.

The figure was tall and thin, with white beard and hair, and his speed was extremely fast, faster than the speed of a truck.

Wang Yanran’s face brightened, and she blurted out: ”Teacher?!”

”It’s Mr. Yao.”

”Mr. Yao is here.”

”We are safe!”

The soldiers in the car were even happier.

Only Lin Fan frowned and felt miserable.

The warriors of the consortium caught up with him, and his hope of escaping instantly became slim.
