I'm picking up pieces in the post-apocalyptic world

Chapter 14

Chapter 14
”What’s going on? Could it be that the zombies really came in?” Su Chen’s face changed slightly, and his mind turned quickly.

It stands to reason that the Tiannan Gathering Base City has high walls and thick walls, and ordinary zombies are absolutely invincible. Could it be that the high-level zombies were killed?
Zombies, like humans, are also graded. Powerful zombies are equivalent to evolution among humans.

And the higher the level of zombies, in addition to being powerful, they also have wisdom.

If the Tiannan Gathering Base was breached, Su Chen suspected that there must be high-level zombies among them.

”Su Chen.” But at this moment, a young woman with a graceful figure and a beautiful appearance rushed in in a panic.

”Tan Lin, why are you here?” Su Chen’s eyes lit up.

Tan Lin is one of the most beautiful women in Tiannan’s gathering place, and has countless suitors, but she loves to answer everyone, except for Su Chen.

After a year of getting in touch slowly, he and Tan Lin got along very well, and their relationship became warmer.

Tan Lin also became the person Su Chen cared about most in the last days.

”Su Chen, it’s bad, the gathering place has fallen, and there are zombies everywhere, let’s run quickly.” Tan Lin explained panting.

”go!”

Su Chen didn’t have time to ask in detail, she got up and dragged Tan Lin to run outside.

At this time, the sound of fierce fighting has already been heard outside, and there are likely to be a large number of zombies in the gathering place. If you delay for a while, you will take an extra risk.

Unexpectedly, when they just ran to the gate of the courtyard, they were forced to stop.

”Su Chen, tell me the whereabouts of my son, or I will kill you!”

The person who came was none other than Chen Haiyang, who was staring at Su Chen fiercely at the moment, and was holding a huge axe in his hand.

”Deputy leader, there are zombies everywhere now, let’s escape first.” Tan Lin was anxious.

She didn’t know why Chen Haiyang wanted to question Su Chen, but the situation was critical now, and she just wanted to escape from here.

”If you don’t want to die, just get out!” Su Chen’s expression darkened, too lazy to explain to him.

The Tiannan gathering place has fallen, and Chen Haiyang, as the deputy leader, does not kill zombies, but makes trouble for himself.

Su Chen was very upset. If Chen Haiyang insisted on blocking him, he wouldn’t mind killing him.

”Rampant! I’ll see how much you weigh today.”

Chen Haiyang was furious, the huge ax in his hand was raised high, his eyes radiated cruelty,
After saying that, the giant ax in his hand had already slashed towards Su Chen.

”Ah” Tan Lin’s face turned pale with fright, and she screamed.

Su Chen had been on guard against Chen Haiyang, but at this moment, she moved her foot and pulled Tan Lin back one after another.

”Crack” sound.

The huge ax fell in the air, and slammed fiercely on the place where Su Chen was standing, splitting a huge gap in the ground.

”How is it possible?” Chen Haiyang’s eyelids twitched.

Su Chen was able to avoid his fatal blow, which was beyond his expectation.

”court death!”

Su Chen’s eyes showed a cold light, and when he raised his hand, a wind blade flew out.

”Sorcerer. Spell Master.” Tan Lin’s eyes widened, and her expression was a little dull.

She could see clearly that the wind blade released by Su Chen was the magical attack of the wizard.

But she has been with Su Chen for a year, but she has never seen Su Chen use spells, nor heard Su Chen reveal his identity as a mage.

”Spell!” Chen Haiyang was also startled, and quickly withdrew the giant ax to block it in front of his chest.

With a bang, the wind blade slashed on the giant axe, splashing a string of sparks, and Chen Haiyang was also knocked back two or three steps.

Although there was no injury, there was a burst of fear in my heart.

Su Chen was actually a spellcaster, which was beyond his expectation.

At this time, Su Chen had already rushed to Chen Haiyang, and slashed out with a horizontal knife.

”What’s the situation?” Chen Haiyang’s heart trembled again.

Su Chen’s speed was too fast, not at all inferior to him.

Could it be that Su Chen is still an evolutionary?
Chen Haiyang was full of doubts in his heart, but he didn’t have time to think about it. He picked up the giant ax and blocked the direction of the chopping knife.

”Dangdang!”

The knives and axes collided heavily, making a loud noise.

Feeling a huge force coming through, Chen Haiyang involuntarily took two steps back, and on the way back, he shouted ”Evolutionary. You are still an evolutionary!”

Once a human being becomes an evolutionary, the most notable change is the soaring speed and incomparable power.

Su Chen has both, so he is obviously an evolutionary.

”Evolutionary.” Tan Lin’s mind was buzzing.

At the same time, Su Chen also took two steps back, and just after he stabilized his figure, he raised his hands together.

A fist-sized fireball rushed towards Chen Haiyang first, and another green light shot towards the soles of Chen Haiyang’s feet.

”Fireball” Chen Haiyang’s complexion completely changed.

Generally speaking, wizards only know how to use one series of spells to attack, and dual-system wizards like Su Chen are extremely rare.

Reminiscing that Su Chen was still an evolutionary, Chen Haiyang’s fear reached the extreme, he threw the ax with his hands, turned and fled.
