Help all mankind

Chapter 161
The topic suddenly went to a place that Liang Shicheng didn’t expect.

Originally, Liang Shicheng was worried that the weapons inspection team found that the real peacekeepers were weak and unreliable, so it speculated that the peacekeepers who protected miss aliya had another organ.

But suddenly, Ms. Arya’s colleagues thought that the unusual performance of peacewalker at that time was purely due to the problem of the procedure and was just a random fight, which happened to protect Arya. The peacewalker’s behavior was not controlled. If so, the peacewalker product would be subject to a series of investigations.

Obviously, they are good at saving people, but in the end, they have to accept an investigation. The weapons inspection team is really dedicated to work and never forget what they are doing. Liang Shicheng first make complaints about himself.

Then, faced with such doubts, Liang Shicheng took his time, immediately came up with countermeasures and said:

”Oh? Is that so? That makes sense.

It shows that peacekeepers have been faithfully performing the tasks assigned to them in accordance with the procedures we have prepared, without making any mistakes. ”

”Let’s talk about what happened in the second round.

After the peacekeepers were splashed with paint, they immediately stopped their operations.

Then the terrorists fought with the weapons verification team, and the peacekeepers watched the whole process and did nothing.

When all the soldiers of the weapons verification team were killed, leaving only miss aliya.

The terrorists intended to attack miss aliya, but the peacekeepers suddenly attacked the terrorists and other terrorists.

But in the end, when the terrorists fled, the peacekeepers did nothing and continued to be in a daze.

But when miss aliya attacked the terrorists with a gun, the peacekeepers attacked aliya again.

I have no problem summing up. ”

Next, Liang Shicheng added with a little pride:

”Then let’s start with what happened at the beginning.

The first is the problem of painting, which did not lead to the paralysis and downtime of peacekeepers.

Unlike humans, they do not necessarily need the eyes in front to see the picture before they can act.

They have a set of programs to control their behavior. Although the eyes in front are effective, they can still judge human position and behavior through sound. This is the reliability of this system.

In short, peace walkers are splashed with paint, which does not affect their play. ”

Miss Arya applauded here.

”Yes, peace walker, the behavior is a little abnormal at this time. How do you explain it?” Miss aliya’s colleague immediately asked.

In the face of the doubt, Liang Shicheng analyzed the above words and immediately made up a reasonable explanation,

”It’s normal. The reason is simple.

Because we only set three basic orders for peacekeepers, they just follow the basic orders.

The first order is that peacekeepers should not harm mankind or stand idly by when they see mankind in danger.

The second order, the peacemaker shall obey the order given to him by mankind, unless the order conflicts with the first order, at which time the first order shall prevail.

The third order is that peacekeepers should protect themselves as much as possible without violating the first and second orders. ”

”This, this is not the three laws of robots?” Aliya’s colleague immediately asked.

Liang Shicheng smiled and continued:

”Yes, we gave the peaceful walker the three laws of robots.

At that time, the peacekeepers did not accept our orders and did not encounter danger.

So it has been executing the first command.

All the previous problems occurred when peacekeepers were faithfully executing the first order.

Peacekeepers must not harm mankind or stand idly by when they see mankind in danger. ”

Miss aliya’s colleague immediately retorted, ”what is always executing, the first order.

We cannot hurt human beings, nor can we see that human beings are in trouble and stand idly by.

But why do we do nothing when we see our people being beaten? ”

Liang Shicheng smiled at the questioner and explained:

”This is normal, because the first command contains two conditions at the same time.

We can neither hurt human beings nor stand idly by.

So we equipped peacekeepers with non lethal and temporarily incapacitated equipment, electric shock guns. ”

Speaking of this, miss aliya understood a little. Liang Shicheng paused for a few seconds and then added:

”Another key point I want to emphasize, although now we recall who the terrorists were and who the good people were before.

It is clear that the weapons verification team is the just party and should be protected by peacekeepers.

But this is not the case for peacekeepers unless they get special permission to unlock.

The first order of peace walker can’t hurt mankind, which is the most important principle of action.

Although the first order requires not to stand idly by, the problem is that it also requires not to harm humans.

Attention should be paid not to harm mankind, including terrorists.

At that time, the terrorists and soldiers of the weapons verification team opened fire on each other.

At this time, the peacekeepers began to judge what to do.

However, no matter what they do, they are pulling off the frame. Protecting one side will indirectly lead to casualties on the other side.

In other words, if peacekeepers start at this time, they will indirectly kill the soldiers of one side.

So the peacekeepers chose not to do it. ”

Liang Shicheng deliberately made a mistake here. He was on the scene at that time. In fact, he clearly saw that the battle was a long’s unilateral massacre of the soldiers of the weapons verification team, and the other party had no chance to respond in such a short time.

Aliya suddenly interrupted to defend Liang Shicheng:

”We’ve learned that we can’t stand idly by. It’s based on our ability and inaction.

It’s like a button in front of a baby. Pressing the button can save the world, but the baby can’t press it.

We can’t say that the baby should be responsible for this. The baby is standing idly by.

No matter what peacekeepers did at that time, they only changed the war situation, and could not change the conflict and casualties between the two sides, or some people would die.

Peacekeepers therefore have no ability to prevent fighting, so they can’t do anything, that is, they don’t stand idly by. ”

Seeing that Elia believed in herself so much, Liang Shicheng continued to talk seriously and nonsense,

”Yes!

Our peacekeeper was very reliable. At that time, he did not stand idly by and did nothing.

But after a careful calculation and analysis, he made a motionless decision! ”
