Global Wasteland: I Unboxed Top Vaults (The World Is A Wasteland: I Obtained A Top Tier Shelter)

Chapter 149： Build drains and be safe!
On the world channel, information is constantly passing by at this time.

Survivors who were forced into the shelter by the sudden acid rain were looking for a way to break the double disaster of acid rain and flood.

The acid rain that arrived too early, although some of them were injured, also gave them a deeper understanding of this disaster.

If we can’t find a way to resist the disaster, then maybe this disaster will cause the terrifying end of the remaining survivors!

”It is now known that acid rain is more harmful to the body than the last snow, but it can’t do any damage to metals, stones, or even wood and hay... This acid rain seems to be completely different from the acid rain we know?”

”Indeed, no matter how bad the acid rain on the earth is, it can’t burn a hole in his body. A fool in our team ran out and said he wanted to imitate Shawshank. As a result, when we brought his body back, there was no sign on his face or hands. What a good place, it’s all corroded pits.”

”It seems that as long as we protect our bodies from acid rain floods, it will be fine?”

”But the flood is going to flood into the shelter. You have to touch it if you don’t touch it. But it can’t be too outrageous to say that it is a flood. I think if it rises to two or three meters, everyone will destroy it together.”

”Speaking of this, can it be solved by building a two-story building? You think, if the system really wants to bring us to a desperate situation, the first disaster will be enough, right?”

”Yeah, although these disasters are all disasters, they are not outrageous. For example, the last earthquake, wouldn’t it be over with a magnitude 9 or 10, and the result was only a magnitude 8.”

”It seems that the idea of the second floor is feasible. If this does not work, then the system wants us to be extinct. Now I announce that those who have the design of the shelter can rush.”

”What if you don’t?”

”How funny? Can’t you get 400 Survival Points? There are them in the Survival Point Mall.”

In the world channel, the number of people talking instantly decreased, and at the same time, in the survival point mall, the design of the shelter became the best-selling item.

At this time, Lin Yue, after reading the chat content of the group, just shook his head silently.

Building the second floor is just to treat the symptoms, not the root cause.

Without a complete drainage structure, the second floor will be flooded.

And he spent 2,000 Survival Points to buy the ”Drainage Canal Design Drawing”!

Drainage, as the name suggests, is a facility to quickly empty the accumulated water. In this world, it is not needed at all. After all, there is basically no water to drain.

But in the face of the coming disaster of acid rain floods, this thing is extremely useful.

”Who would have thought that this thing would be sold in the Survival Point Mall?”

Lin Yue doesn’t know how to do the drain, and doesn’t have much idea of how it should be done.

He had indeed seen some of these things on the roads of the city.

When he was working on the stone wall before, he did have some idea of making a drainage ditch, but it was really hard to think of how to do it.

Now that he sees it for sale, he is naturally overjoyed.

Lin Yue immediately used it.

Don’t need it at this time, you will really be blinded by then.

[Drainage channel: stone/iron block/copper ingot/cement/plastic/alloy X20]

Good guy, just like the last time I made a raincoat, it can be made by providing any material, as long as there is enough quantity.

Lin Yue looked at his various material reserves.

Cement is naturally not available, and plastic has great use elsewhere. Copper ingots are used to make wires. How can alloys be used for this? And the rest is only stone and iron.

However, although there are still some reserves of stones, this drainage channel does not know how long it can be made. He may not have enough stones for less than a hundred pieces.

”It seems that only iron blocks are used.” Lin Yue looked at the iron blocks with a reserve of 366 blocks, and couldn’t help but be surprised that he actually had so many.

Lin Yue came to the outside again and spent 20 iron blocks to choose and make!

【Please decide where the drainage canal will be built】

Build a location?

Lin Yue thought about it for a while, and it seemed that the outer side of the stone wall outside the shelter was the most suitable. The rainwater that fell from above dripped down, just enough to flow away from the drain.

Well, the drainage canal should be built along the outer edge of the previously built stone wall for about half a meter.

Lin Yue quickly chose the location, and the system also marked it with a green icon, telling him that it could be built.

And in the next second, an iron drainage channel with a width of one meter, a depth of one meter, and a length of about five meters also appeared in the position he designated after a faint light!

”That’s right, it looks solid too!” Lin Yue jumped into it, looking at the trapezoid-shaped drainage canal, he couldn’t help but get excited.

Strange to say, even though he didn’t dig it himself, he couldn’t help but look at this neat drainage channel.

”One is definitely not enough, keep going.”

The rain was a little heavier, and the sky became darker. The raindrops hit the iron drain, making a crisp sound.

Lin Yue continued to make the drainage channel. He didn’t want to get up tomorrow morning when there was already standing water outside, but he had to work hard to get it.

Soon, as the iron blocks in the storage space disappeared in large numbers, he also finished laying the drainage channels around the greenhouse and the outer walls of the shelter.

”Next, we have to lead the drainage channel to the outside, which is still a lot of work.”

Lin Yue really wanted to take a break. He has been working non-stop since he was able to build a stone wall, but this acid rain can’t wait for him. A layer of acid rain a few centimeters high.

The work still needs to continue, and the amount is not small.

Lin Yue walked carefully while calculating the shortest route from the drain to the door.

The ground was already quite slippery, and if he fell, Lin Yue felt like he was stuck here and didn’t run away.

The drainage channel continued to extend forward, and he quickly led out the first layer of stone gates under his operation, and then led out from the second layer of outer walls along the second layer of alloy doors.

Lin Yue looked around and found that not too far from the grove, there was already a place where some water had accumulated, and if he went further in that direction, it would be the ”river” and ”lake” he had seen before. .

Before the acid rain, the river and lake water stinks terribly, and the water level has dropped quite a bit. He would still be a little disgusted at that time, but now it seems that it is a good drainage direction.

However, Lin Yue was not so foolish as to run the drainage ditch all the way to the lake from this direction. Instead, he took advantage of the terrain to first repair the drainage channel to the position where the water was standing, and then use the drainage channel from the position of the accumulated water to the bottom. Drain down.

After doing this, the sky was completely dark, and Lin Yue immediately returned to the shelter.

Opening both the alloy door and the stone door completely outwards Lin Yue paid attention to the drainage channel under his feet, stepped on the slippery mud, and finally returned to the only place where the shelter was still open.

And there, Xiaobai and many little ice lizards were waiting for him.

Lin Yue finally glanced at the gloomy sky outside, and there was acid rain more than ten centimeters high in the drainage channel. He finally got into the door and blocked it with the last stone wall.

The rain gradually became heavier.

And Lin Yue has completely built this flood-resistant fortress built by him.

Next, there are less than thirty hours before the real disaster arrives.

Lin Yue wanted to know if he could survive this disaster this time!
