Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1269  Maxʼs Goal

Soon the number of demons began to diminish. What had started as a surging tide of mindless fury slowly shrank into scattered pockets of resistance. The squads, who at first moved with a mix of caution and inexperience, now fought with a rhythm that resembled seasoned veterans more than newly-awakened peak Divine Rank geniuses.

Their movements began to align with one another in ways Max had hoped for. The chaotic battlefield gradually shifted into something the young geniuses dominated with growing confidence.

Victor led the final charge on the frontline. The ground trembled beneath each step he took. A cluster of demons tried to overwhelm him together, yet their claws and corrosive blasts broke against his fists as if striking a mountain. He tore through them, catching one demon by its arm and smashing it into the cliff wall so hard its body caved in.

When another demon attempted to strike him from behind, one of his squad members stepped in and cut its legs before it reached Victor. Their teamwork had evolved naturally, their instincts sharpening with every exchange.

Arthurʼs squad worked like a cyclone on the right flank. Their movement was fluid and confident. Arthurʼs sword light carved through the last remaining demon ambushers with refined accuracy. When a demon tried to escape toward the valleyʼs forest of twisted trees, Arthur flicked his wrist and unleashed a sweeping crescent of wind.

The attack flew across the valley floor, slicing the fleeing demon in half before it even understood what hit it. His squad followed behind him, finishing every straggler with unwavering precision.

Seraphinaʼs squad created a rain of golden light. Their arrows never missed their mark. Each arrow moved along a curved path, guided by Seraphinaʼs mastery over her element. They picked off every demon still trying to hide in the dark crevices of the lair walls.

A demon that had managed to cling to the shadows and avoid detection tried to leap at one of the newer geniuses, its jaws wide. Seraphina released an arrow without a moment of hesitation. The arrow pierced straight through its skull, pinning the demonʼs body to the valley floor. Her squad members finished the last cluster around her, their expressions calm and focused.

Danielʼs squad secured the rear with unmatched discipline. They used their barriers not only defensively but offensively, trapping demons in confined spaces before crushing them with overlapping fields of force.

When a particularly large demon attempted to push past the rear guard, Daniel expanded a dome of condensed black flames around it. The demon struggled, screamed, and then exploded into dust as the dome constricted. His squad supported the other groups by sealing off pathways the demons might have used to ambush them.

Christineʼs squad swept through the left side of the valley like a burning tide. Her spear lit the battlefield with scorching energy. Every strike she made sent ripples of heat across the area, turning demons into ash. Her squad worked with a fiery synergy, overwhelming the remaining demons in their quadrant. If a demon tried to resist, her spear found its heart. If a demon tried to flee, her flames engulfed it before it could take two steps.

And Michaelʼs squad was the quiet storm at the heart of the battlefield. He and his group moved with such calm that it created an eerie contrast to the chaos around them. They finished demons methodically, one after another, without a single wasted motion.

Michael struck down the last of the hulking demons with a bolt of condensed lightning that pierced straight through its chest. His squad then cleared the final pockets of resistance with perfect coordination.

In the span of a few breaths the demon lair fell silent.

No more roars. No more clawing. No more attempts to ambush.

Only scattered demon corpses dissolved into black mist as the corrupted energies dissipated. The valley that once rumbled with demonic fury now echoed with the steady breaths of the young geniuses who stood victorious.

From high above, Max watched the final demon collapse. The shadowy world of Nullaria absorbed the last fading sparks of demonic energy, leaving nothing but stillness.

Max descended slowly.

His feet touched the cracked earth with quiet steps. The young geniuses gathered around him, their expressions glowing with pride, relief, and a faint but unmistakable thrill. They had entered their first demon lair without a plan, without preparation, and yet they emerged unscathed with every demon slain.

”Well done,” Max said, his voice calm yet carrying an approving weight that made many of them straighten unconsciously. ”You adapted. You worked together. You handled yourselves without hesitation.”

Some geniuses smiled. Others simply exhaled long breaths of relief. A few looked at their squad leaders with grateful admiration.

Max continued, ”This was only the first lair, and it was one of the smallest. More difficult ones wait ahead, but this… this is a good start.”

The young geniuses stood tall.

The battlefield smelled of victory.

Black flames rose from Maxʼs feet as it spread to the entire battlefield of the demon lair. Everyone was surprised to see the sudden rise of black flames from Maxʼs feet but they didnʼt panick. In no time, all the corpses of demons were burned and devoured into the black flakes leaving not even a single limb behind.

ʼMy current strength is at the peak of Mythic Rank.ʼ Max thought quitely as he devoured all the essence on those corpses of the demons. ʼAnd knowing me, it would take abyssal amount of energy to level up to Divine Rank.ʼ

The current him felt that his chances against Mark was pretty good right now but would that be the same if Mark acquired his full strength when the other two part of his souls and crown are back to him?

ʼEverything depends on me to level up to Divine Rank.ʼ Max thought with resolve. He believed that if his strength were to reach the Divine Rank or even the 1st level of Divine Rank, then he would have absolute confidence in himself that he would have enough strength to take down a fully powered Mark.

And because of this goal, he had come to the Nullaria with the hope of entering the Divine Rank by devouring all the demons present here.
