Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 138: A Glimpse of True Power

One observer shook their head in disbelief. ”Nathan is one of the fastest fighters among the geniuses. How is Max keeping up with him, let alone blocking every attack so easily?”

A faint smile tugged at the corner of Maxʼs lips as he deflected another strike, his voice calm and steady. ”Speed alone isnʼt enough. Predictability is your downfall.”

”You!” Nathan raged, his frustration evident as he continued his relentless attacks, hoping to wear Max down.

The top geniuses outside were shocked to see Maxʼs battle prowess.

”How is he doing this? What is this strength? I refuse to believe this is someone at Level 4 of the Apprentice Rank!” Evlinʼs voice cracked with disbelief, her usually calm demeanor shattered by the sheer impossibility of the scene before her. Her eyes trembled as she watched Max dominate the battlefield, defying all logic.

Tom, standing beside her, wore a grim expression, his arms crossed tightly. ”Looks like heʼs everything you all claimed him to be—and more,” he muttered darkly, his tone laced with both awe and unease. ”Formidable,” he added, glancing toward Sam and Dean.

Hearing his comment, Sam and Dean exchanged knowing smiles, their confidence in Max unwavering. But neither spoke a word, letting the spectacle speak for itself.

It was Princess Aveline who broke the silence, her voice cutting through the tension like a blade. ”Youʼre all missing something crucial here.” Her gaze remained fixed on Max, her expression unnervingly solemn.

Tom and Evlin turned to her, confused by the weight in her words. ”What do you mean?” Tom asked cautiously, furrowing his brow.

Princess Avelineʼs eyes narrowed as she gestured toward Max. ”Have you noticed? Despite everything heʼs doing, he hasnʼt used his aura yet.”

Those words struck like thunder. A cold shiver ran down Tomʼs spine, and Evlinʼs face went pale. The realization dawned on them like a hammer to the chest.

”What?” Evlin whispered, her wide eyes snapping back to Max. She focused intently, replaying every move, every strike he had made. Sure enough, no trace of aura enveloped his body. No elemental force. No amplification of his attacks. Nothing.

”Heʼs... heʼs holding back?” Tom stammered, unable to comprehend the depths of Maxʼs capabilities.

Aveline nodded grimly. ”Heʼs not just strong—heʼs terrifying. If he can fight like this without even tapping into his aura, what happens when he does?” Her tone carried a weight of inevitability, as if she knew the answer but dreaded seeing it unfold.

For a moment, no one spoke, the implications of Avelineʼs words settling heavily over them. If this was Maxʼs restrained state, the thought of him unleashing his full power was almost too overwhelming to fathom.

---

”I think this is enough,” Max said, releasing his Flame Aura.

Almost instantly, a wave of pressure surged from him, blasting Nathan straight to the edge of the dome. His back collided with it.

”Impossible!” Nathan roared, feeling the pressure from Max. His eyes widened, refusing to believe what was happening.

”This is just a glimpse of my true power,” Max said, walking closer to Nathan, who, with each step of Max, found himself trapped under an invisible cage. No matter how much he tried, he couldnʼt move, couldnʼt breathe, couldnʼt even speak.

Leaning down over Nathan, Max said calmly, ”You lot arenʼt my opponents, nor do I intend to fight you all. So stop bothering me, or next time I wonʼt show this much forgiveness.” With that, he flicked Nathan on his forehead, sending him crashing into the wall of the dome once more, this time fainting.

With that, the dome lost its effect, and Max walked over to Princess Aveline. ”Can I have the technique now?” he asked.

Princess Aveline tossed it to him. ”Remember, you can only record the contents, not take it for yourself,” she said with her usual proud tone.

Max glanced at her, smiling. ”Why would I do that when I just need the technique?” he asked, shaking his head as he tapped on his holowatch, which released a blue ball of light into the air.

Max opened each of the books, facing the holowatch, making sure it scanned all the pages neatly. ”Good. You can have it now.” With that, Max returned the technique to her.

”Also,” Max turned to each of the geniuses present. ”I want nothing from you all, so donʼt bother me from now on.” With those words, he slowly moved toward the chunk of lightning-element rock.

Max wanted to take his mastery over the Aura of Lightning to the peak of Level 1, just like his Sword and Flame Auras.

He had made a remarkable discovery about auras as he delved deeper into their mysteries. He realized that even Level 1 Auras contained hidden stages, layers of complexity that werenʼt immediately apparent upon initial comprehension.

In the beginning, when he first mastered the Flame and Sword Auras, he couldnʼt fully utilize their potential.

He couldnʼt overwhelm others with his aura, nor could he direct the intent emanating from it with precision. His control was limited, clumsy at best.

In simple terms, the auras he had comprehended back then were like seeds—barely sprouting, immature, and far from their true strength.

But as time passed and his mastery grew, so did his control. Slowly and steadily, he nurtured those fledgling auras, refining their power until they reached the peak of Level 1. At that level, his Flame and Sword Auras transformed into formidable forces, capable of overwhelming opponents and exerting dominance with their sheer presence alone.

Now, his attention had shifted to the Lightning Aura.

Maxʼs progress with the Flame and Sword Auras had been painstakingly slow, requiring endless effort and perseverance.

However, this time, he had an advantage—a unique resource that could accelerate his mastery of the Lightning Aura. He believed he should be able to take his Lightning Aura to the level of his Flame Aura and Sword Aura.

ʼOnly then will I ascend to the second floor,ʼ Max mused as he entered the region of the Lightning Aura chunk.

Upon entering the region of lightning aura, he immediately felt a separate space around a certain area of the chunk of lightning. Looking behind, he could see others talking, but he couldnʼt hear them. ʼA separate space for comprehending? Sweet!ʼ Max mused as he reached the center of the region, where he could sense the lightning aura at its best and sat down.

The lightning aura coming from the chunk of long stone was unlike anything he had ever felt before. It was similar to auras contained in the monolith but purer. Previously, he had nothing to base his Flame and Sword Auras on, but now, it was a different story for lightning.

ʼI will only get up after Iʼve comprehended the Lightning Aura to the peak of Level 1,ʼ Max decided as he entered a state of meditation, focusing on comprehending the Aura of Lightning in the chunk of rock.

---

On the other hand, the top geniuses were reeling from what Max had shown them.

”That—that was peak-stage Level 1 Aura of Flame, only a step away from Level 2,” Evlin muttered, her breath uneven.

”Indeed, a peak Level 1 Flame Aura,” Princess Aveline said, her tone solemn. ”Who would have thought the East Region would give birth to such a genius…” Her face was calm, but her thoughts were unknown.

Nathan reached them at that moment his face blank.

”Youʼre not injured, right?” Tom asked, glancing at Nathan.

Nathan nodded slightly, his fists clenched tightly. ”He said we arenʼt his opponents.” His words hung in the air, drawing everyoneʼs attention.

Princess Aveline frowned, her gaze distant. ”Adept Rank geniuses are his goal. For him, we are nothing, heʼs set his sights on something much farther ahead of us, something far beyond us.”

Evlin, Nathan, and Tom remained silent, their faces solemn.
