My Youth Began With Him

“I won’t allow her to visit Qian!” Yan Ruoxi tried to block Huo Mian because she was very upset.

“Miss Yan, please don’t make it hard for us. Boss wants to see her…”

Finally, Yan Ruoxi watched helplessly as Huo Mian entered Huo Siqian’s patient room.

Huo Mian had left Tiantian at the OB/GYN Department with the Head Nurse.

Then she went to Huo Siqian’s patient room alone. One would feel sorry for Huo Siqian when he or she saw him as he was all wrapped up in white bandages.

Huo Mian looked at his medical records and was astonished.

She had to admit, Huo Siyi was extremely brutal and had almost tortured Huo Siqian to death.

Huo Siqian had many wounds and the deepest ones were the two stabs on his legs.

Those stab wounds had almost reached his femoral arteries. Apparently, his spleen was also wounded and he was suffering from internal lung bleeding.

After a long and big operation, the doctors were still closely observing how he was doing. Only if his wounds did not worsen or become inflamed after48 hours could the doctors confirm that his life was no longer in danger.

“Mian, you’re here…” Huo Siqian looked at Huo Mian. He was very weak.

“Yeah. I’m here to see if you were dead yet,” Huo Mian acted icy as she said.

“Haha, you’re always so tough with your words… I know you were worried about me or else you wouldn’t have come to see me.”

“You’re thinking too much! Who would worry about you,” Huo Mian said with her eyes opened widely as she glared at him.

“Are the twins okay?”

“Yeah, they’re doing great!”

“What about you? Are you hurt?”

“I’m fine…” Huo Mian was only slapped by Huo Siyi so other than some swollen cheeks, she was fine.

“That’s good to hear.” Huo Siqian was relieved to hear that Huo Mian wasn’t hurt.

“Do you know that you almost died this time?” Huo Mian asked in a serious tone.

“I know. That bastard must really hate me and want to kill me…”

“Why would you still come even if you know he would do this to you?”

“If I don’t go, you’d be in a terrible position… We’re both enemies to him. If I didn’t go and have him let his anger out on me, you would probably be dead by now…” Huo Siqian said half-jokingly.

“But… Is this really worth it?” Huo Mian asked in a serious tone.

Up till this moment, she did not believe that Huo Siqian truly loved her. Even after all he did for her, Huo Mian did not understand Huo Siqian’s intentions.

“Of course it’s worth it… You’ve known me for so long. Do you think I would accept any bad deals? Haha…” Huo Siqian laughed.

“If it weren’t for you, Qin Chu probably would’ve torn me to pieces by now…” Huo Siqian tried to remember that time when Qin Chu grabbed onto his collar furiously. Qin Chu was holding onto a knife and was about to kill him, but he stopped because Huo Mian had told him not to.

“My husband is not a murderer. People like you who have done bad deeds… I’ll let the judge decide what you get…” Huo Mian said in an icy tone.

“Come over…” Huo Siqian waved his hand.

“What?” Huo Mian was alert so she backed up two steps.

“You silly thing, come over… I won’t hurt you. You don’t have to be this alarmed by me. Look at me! What can I do to you like this? Haha…” Huo Siqian shook his head and chuckled.

Huo Mian hesitated for a while but finally slowly walked over to Huo Siqian’s bedside.

“Look at you… You don’t listen to people. Remember how I told you to be careful because our enemy was back… You didn’t listen to me…”

“You already knew at that time that Huo Siyi was back?” Huo Mian looked at him in shock.

“Of course. Who else do you think I was talking about?”

“No wonder… I felt like I was being followed…”

“Yeah. It was because of that b*tch Yuan Qingqing that helped Huo Siyi come up with the plans. Huo Siyi isn’t that smart. I heard that b*tch’s boat exploded. Is she dead?” Huo Siqian asked.

Huo Mian nodded.

“Who put the bomb?” Huo Siqian pointed out the most important part.
