2429 Senior White Two’s Troubles

To be frank, Senior White Two wasn’t accustomed to instantly obliterating the fat ball’s clone like that.

In the present world, his projection clone started wrapping things up. He gathered the raindrop-like remnants of the fat ball and sealed each one individually before bringing them back to the world of the black lotus. In the course of this finalization, Senior White Two’s projection clone also acquired a dragon-shaped commander’s seal, a creation of the Third Wielder of the Will.

Simultaneously, in the Netherworld Realm, Senior White Two’s true form had already departed from the cozy realm of the black lotus and arrived beside the true form of the fat ball.

At this moment, the fat ball boss’s true form remained motionless. Its liquid metal body emitted a faint glow.

In the past, whenever Senior White Two appeared within a radius of 10,000 kilometers of the fat ball, the fat ball would instantly switch into its irritable older brother mode.

It seemed that this was the first time that two rulers of the Netherworld could maintain composure while facing each other.

Senior White Two approached and prodded the fat ball’s body, but it offered no resistance.

‘Considering what Song Shuhang just mentioned about the issue in the Heavenly Tribulation Realm, along with the sudden main world crash of the fat ball’s clone… Is the Heavenly Dao corresponding to the fat ball on the brink of dissipating?’ Senior White Two pondered silently.

In this vast multiverse, the only force capable of affecting the fat ball and causing it to crash suddenly was the Heavenly Dao!

The fat ball’s Heavenly Dao had always harbored imperfections, and the top experts of the multiverse had long sensed this.

Especially in recent times, the flaws in the Heavenly Dao Ball had been accumulating and erupting. Today, it seemed that they had reached a breaking point and led to the fat ball’s crash.

“Those destined to perish will eventually meet their end. Those who yearn to survive will eventually endure!” Senior White Two articulated profound words, yet he gave no thought to the fact that the fat ball had attempted several times to find a means of escape, only to be covertly thwarted by him each time.

As the ruler of the Netherworld, how could he be expected to recall the “good deeds” he had perpetrated?

“I had initially assumed that between you and me, I would be the first to vanish. Yet, in the end, I was the one to bid you farewell first. The world is indeed unpredictable.” While Senior White Two waxed nostalgic, he began to toy with his hands.

He extended his hand and patted the fat ball’s body. The fat ball behaved like an actual ball and showcased remarkable elasticity.

As Senior White Two continued striking it, the fat ball’s body started bouncing up and down, akin to a springy water balloon. With each rebound, its form undulated.

On a whim, Senior White Two decided to flaunt his exceptional basketball skills. In truth, he quite enjoyed sports involving balls. Back when he was able to dispatch his “projection clone” to the main world via Song Shuhang, he had familiarized himself with a wide array of ball games on Earth.

Playing basketball, volleyball, billiards, football… Well, whether it involved striking or kicking a ball, as long as it was a ball game, he took keen interest.

“You see, in this vast Netherworld Realm, I am the sole individual who came to visit you. In essence, amidst this expansive Netherworld Realm, the only one who genuinely cares about you is me.” Senior White Two hoisted the hefty bulk of the fat ball high in the air and forcefully elevated it. He then assumed a shooting stance and powerfully hurled its form.

Boom!

The fat ball soared in a graceful arc before violently crashing into the ground of the Netherworld Realm and left behind a colossal crater.

“Truthfully… I had hoped you could endure a bit longer. Song Shuhang has just attained the Eighth Stage Realm, and he lacks the qualifications to vie for the Wielder of the Will.” Senior White Two approached the fat ball’s side and hauled it out of the pit.

While speaking, he commenced the task of inscribing a sealing formation on the fat ball’s body. He had aimed to seal it much like how the fat ball had employed the sealing pillar to deceive him. In principle, with potent materials and Senior White Two’s full exertion, it shouldn’t be an issue to confine the fat ball for several hundred years.

“After all, if you were to dissipate now, it won’t be long before a new Heavenly Dao and a ruler of the Netherworld emerge… I cannot predict what the next cultivator who inherits the Heavenly Dao and ascends as the ruler of the Netherworld will be like in terms of appearance and personality. I cannot foresee whether they will coexist as harmoniously as you and I. Moreover, if a new ruler of the Netherworld is born, it won’t be similar to you, who lacks in primary form. This would pose quite a predicament for me.” While etching the sealing formation, Senior White Two whispered to the fat ball.

“The worst-case scenario is… once the new ruler of the Netherworld materializes, I will likely vanish much like you. After all, I have no knowledge of the methods employed by the Wielder of the Will to maintain me in the Netherworld Realm and uphold my status as the ruler of the Netherworld Realm. I wonder how enduring its methods will prove to be.” Senior White Two softly stated.

These were all dilemmas plaguing Senior White Two.

However, due to his pride, he couldn’t confide these worries in anyone else. Whether it was his pet or Song Shuhang, they were ill-suited to share in his concerns.

He was the ruler of the Netherworld, Bai. How could he possibly divulge his troubles to others?

“Perhaps, soon after your dissipation, I may follow suit? If that transpires, then you and I are truly bound by a fate unwavering in life and death.” Senior White Two halted his actions and lightly applauded.

At this juncture, the silver-white sphere of liquid metal was adorned with black runes. It looked like a work of art.

“In actuality, I hope that Song Shuhang contends for the position of the Wielder of the Will. Since my inception, it’s rare for me to encounter such an interesting young fellow who possesses numerous tricks up his sleeve, seeks help in myriad ways, and is virtually devoid of flaws. Aside from his inability to tell jokes, he’s essentially flawless. If he were to advance to the Heavenly Dao… with him, I might not fade away. Furthermore, there wouldn’t be any conflict between his rule of the Netherworld and me.”

Senior White Two extended his hand and pressed it against the fat ball’s body and initiated the seal.

“Unfortunately, time remains too limited. His advancement speed was already so rapid… Yet in the end, I was still a few steps behind.” Senior White Two’s power flowed continuously into the sealing rune.

“But that’s all right. The position of the Heavenly Dao isn’t all that enjoyable. Furthermore, Shuhang doesn’t appear to harbor great desire to vie for the Wielder of the Will.” Senior White stretched his hand and exerted pressure.

With the seal completed, the fat ball’s body had been compressed to the size of a basketball.

The instant the seal was finalized, the fat ball’s body abruptly regained its mobility. The fat ball, which had been malfunctioning, appeared to have restarted?

“Bai Youyou!!” The fat ball bellowed in a deafening roar.

“Hello there, fat ball~” Senior White Two greeted with a laugh. Simultaneously, he sent a message to Song Shuhang.

[Manual system notification: The Heavenly Tribulation Realm is about to recover. You should properly transcend the tribulation, Shuhang.]
