Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Chu Sheng wasn’t surprised at all.

He was from Earth. After experiencing so much on Blue Star, he had long suspected it.

That there had to be many more mortal planets like Blue Star and Earth.

The existence of the Spirit Realm and the Immortal Realm, therefore, seemed much more logical.

But Gu Yuexi had lived on Blue Star her entire life.

She had never imagined...

...that such a vast world existed beyond Blue Star.

Or that other humans existed.

But she was, after all, the reincarnation of Immortal Venerable Shi Xi.

Her mental fortitude far surpassed that of an ordinary person.

It took her only a minute...

...to completely digest the existence of the Three Realms.

Seeing that Chu Sheng and Gu Yuexi’s expressions had returned to calm,

Immortal Venerable Shi Xi continued speaking.

This time, her gaze was fixed on Chu Sheng.

Her tone became incredibly solemn.

”In the near future, the Three Realms will face an unprecedented, great calamity.”

”In this calamity, the Human Race will face annihilation.”

”The slightest misstep will lead to their complete extinction.”

”You are a beast. You might not be affected by this calamity.”

”Even if the heavens were to fall, you could flee at any time.”

”That is why I implore you.”

”During this calamity, please stand with the Human Race and do your best to help them.”

Chu Sheng froze for a moment, his compound eyes swirling.

He spoke with a look of disbelief.

”Me?”

”A mosquito who just reached the Divinity Transformation First Layer?”

”Help the Human Race deal with a calamity that threatens to annihilate them across the Three Realms?”

”Immortal Venerable, you’re overestimating me by a long shot.”

”Let’s not even talk about the Immortal Realm.”

”Just in this Spirit Realm alone...”

”...there are tons of beings who could crush me with a flick of their finger, okay?”

Immortal Venerable Shi Xi smiled.

”You don’t need to sell yourself short.”

”I’m not talking about now, but the future.”

”In all my long years, I have never seen a mosquito grow as fast as you.”

”Your growth rate is more terrifying than any of the prodigies of the Human Race I’ve ever seen.”

”It would be no exaggeration to say it’s unprecedented and unrepeatable.”

”By the time the calamity arrives, you might have already ascended to the Immortal Realm.”

”At that point, you will naturally have the power to help the Human Race.”

Chu Sheng asked, puzzled.

”What kind of disaster could it be, to make you, an Immortal Venerable, take it so seriously?”

Immortal Venerable Shi Xi shook her head, a trace of confusion in her eyes.

”I cannot divine it.”

”The heavenly secrets are completely obscured.”

”I can only see a sea of blood.”

Immortal Venerable Shi Xi paused, then added.

”When that day comes, you will naturally know.”

’The future again!’

Chu Sheng grumbled internally.

He suddenly thought of Lin Dong, the number one on Jing University’s Celestial Pride List.

Back on the Alien Race battlefield,

Lin Dong had made a deal with Chu Sheng.

He gave Chu Sheng a large amount of precious Alien Race Essence Blood.

And asked Chu Sheng to help him in a fight in the future.

At the time, Chu Sheng thought...

...this fight would be on Blue Star.

It wasn’t until later, in Secret Realm Zero...

...when Lin Dong waited for him at the Gate of Rebirth before leaving,

...that he said something baffling to him.

”In the future, we will only be comrades, not enemies.”

And there was that even earlier line.

”The candidate for this generation has been decided.”

Back then, Chu Sheng had been completely clueless.

He had no idea what he was talking about.

Now, combining this with Immortal Venerable Shi Xi’s deal,

Chu Sheng pieced together a rough outline.

’Lin Dong must be an Immortal Realm Level existence, just like Immortal Venerable Shi Xi was in her life. Perhaps even stronger. Immortal Venerable Shi Xi sacrificed herself to protect Blue Star. Lin Dong sensed her fall and made a special trip to Blue Star. He was originally looking for her reincarnation, but he unexpectedly ran into me. Lin Dong saw my limitless potential. And so came that baffling statement. As well as that deal about the future. Lin Dong, like Immortal Venerable Shi Xi, must have also divined that the Human Race would face a great calamity. So he laid his plans in advance, inviting me to become a comrade in the future. To face the great calamity together. It all makes perfect sense!!!’

However, from Lin Dong’s few words,

Chu Sheng felt that...

...Lin Dong knew far more about this great calamity than Immortal Venerable Shi Xi did.

’Next time I see Lin Dong, I have to ask him about this properly. If it’s too much trouble, I’d rather just grab the Little Empress and run away early. Find a place with beautiful scenery and live a carefree life.’

Chu Sheng was making his own little calculations in his head.

But he spoke with a serious expression.

”Immortal Venerable Shi Xi, rest assured, I will definitely fulfill our agreement.”

”As long as I’m alive, I will never stand by and watch the Human Race be exterminated.”

Immortal Venerable Shi Xi smiled and nodded.

”I believe you.”

After speaking, she turned to look at Gu Yuexi beside her.

”You have now reached the Profound Understanding Realm in your Cultivation.”

”It is time I passed my complete inheritance on to you.”

Chu Sheng had thought...

...that Immortal Venerable Shi Xi would do it like when she had transferred power to him before.

A simple tap on Gu Yuexi’s forehead.

And it would be over.

He never expected...

...that Immortal Venerable Shi Xi would stretch out her arms and embrace Gu Yuexi directly.

Gu Yuexi subconsciously closed her eyes.

Under Chu Sheng’s stunned gaze,

the bodies of Gu Yuexi and Immortal Venerable Shi Xi began to turn transparent.

Then, they slowly merged together, transforming into a dazzling golden light.

’Wait... what’s going on?’

For a moment, Chu Sheng couldn’t process it.

He stood rooted to the spot, dumbly staring at the ever-brightening golden light.

’Even though Gu Yuexi is Immortal Venerable Shi Xi’s reincarnation, Immortal Venerable Shi Xi is someone from ten thousand years ago. Gu Yuexi... aside from carrying a remnant soul of Immortal Venerable Shi Xi, is a completely different person now! She has her own thoughts. Her own personality. Her own memories. Her own Contracted Beast. You two... merging together... The person after the fusion... Will she be Gu Yuexi? Or Immortal Venerable Shi Xi?’

Chu Sheng panicked instantly.

He couldn’t bear the thought of losing the Gu Yuexi who had been through life and death with him.

Even less did he want to face a cold, unfamiliar Immortal Venerable Shi Xi.

That’s right.

Although Chu Sheng had spent a year with Immortal Venerable Shi Xi,

his feelings for this phantom of hers...

...were only of gratitude, not affection.

”Hey! Immortal Venerable!”

”Don’t do anything rash!”

”We can talk this out!”

”Don’t do this!”

Chu Sheng was frantic, pacing back and forth.

He wanted to stop them,

but he had no way to interfere.

He could only wait anxiously on the spot.

Every second...

...felt as long as a century.

After half an hour had passed,

the dazzling golden light finally began to dissipate slowly.

The figure of Gu Yuexi... or rather, Immortal Venerable Shi Xi,

...gradually reappeared.

She stood quietly in the Flower Sea and slowly opened her eyes.

”Gu Yuexi” looked at Chu Sheng’s Divine Thought phantom.

Her eyes held an unfamiliar, icy coldness.

Chu Sheng’s heart skipped a beat.

His heart sank straight to the bottom.

’It’s over!!! That kind of look... Gu Yuexi only has that look when she’s facing an enemy. She never looks at me like that. Immortal Venerable Shi Xi must have taken control! SOB... My Little Empress... is gone!’

Right now, Chu Sheng really wanted to borrow Brother Monkey’s Jingu Bang.

Then go up and strike ”Gu Yuexi,” forcing her back to her original form.

But where was he supposed to find Brother Monkey?!

As he was now,

other than waiting for the judgment of the god of fate,

there was nothing he could do!

Chu Sheng stared intently at ”Gu Yuexi.”

His tone was incredibly grave.

He asked, word by word.

”Who... are you right now?”

Meeting Chu Sheng’s nervous and apprehensive gaze,

Gu Yuexi slowly opened her mouth.

A familiar tone.

A familiar address.

Came from her lips.

”You damn mosquito...”

”Who... do you think this Empress is!!!”
