True Incubus: The Demon with No Limits

”They wake up stronger, they are hungry, they cannot always control themselves, so they leave their families, they tell the people they love to stay away because they are afraid they might hurt them.”

The moment Naomi heard those words, her expression changed.

In one instant—

It all clicked into place.

Lucian’s uncontrolled state, the miraculous change in his body, his unnatural strength, the secrecy, his disappearance, the sudden money that came out of nowhere—

It all made sense.

”He... is a Vampire...?”

Naomi blinked, her mind still couldn’t comprehend the fact that the worst possible explanation made the most sense.

”No...”

She shook her head again, denying the possibility.

Evelyn smiled, then she looked around the room. No one was there, Lucian had gone out to say goodbye to Maya and the others who had helped him arrange the party. Using this chance, she pointed at a nearby plastic cup a few meters away from them.

”Look.”

She pointed at the cup as she lifted her hand. Naomi turned around with a frown, but then—

”!!!”

Her eyes widened in surprise as the cup trembled and started floating in the air.

”W-What...?”

She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

”Evelyn!”

That was when Lucian, who sensed demonic energy, rushed back in and saw everything.

”What are you doing!?”

He raised his voice as he rushed forward and grabbed the cup. He turned towards Naomi and panicked when he saw her surprised expression.

She saw it.

She saw it all.

For a moment, Lucian didn’t know what he was supposed to do.

Then—

”She deserves to know, Lucian.”

Evelyn spoke with a calm look on her face.

”You do not get to decide that.”

Lucian glared at her. Evelyn, however, did not back down.

”You do not get to decide it either.”

She spoke in a stricter tone.

”Stop making decisions for others, it hurts them more than you think.”

”You know why I do that.”

”I do, that is the reason I am telling you not to do it.”

Evelyn looked at him.

”I can see you care about her, this is why I am stopping you from hurting her.”

Lucian couldn’t say anything.

He turned towards Naomi and a guilty look appeared on his face.

Naomi was hurt, and he knew that. How could she not be hurt? She clearly cared about him, enough to offer him her virginity thinking he was in trouble. She stood beside him when no one else did, but he only disappeared. He lied to her again and again, he broke promises, then, while she was worried about him, she saw him standing together with a world-class superstar—

Anyone could see how hurt she must be.

Just that...

What else was Lucian supposed to do?

He clearly couldn’t distance himself from her, he had tried, but every time he saw her, he failed.

He couldn’t be close to her either, that would make her a target.

So...

What else could he do?

”Let her decide what she wants.”

Evelyn spoke up.

”Tell her everything, reveal the truth. Trust her with it, then, if she wants nothing to do with it, distance yourself from her and...”

Evelyn’s eyes then changed.

”If she still wishes to be with you, choose her. Don’t try to bury your feelings, because you clearly are not good at it.”

At those words, Lucian looked at Evelyn, then he turned towards Naomi and waited for her.

Naomi looked at the two.

Her mind still couldn’t comprehend what Evelyn had shown her, the sight of the cup trembling and floating in the air was still very clear in her head.

Then, as she saw Lucian staring at her, as she looked into his purple eyes—

”What... are you?”

She questioned directly.

”I am a Human who has consumed Incubus Blood, so my body has Incubus-like needs.”

Lucian answered honestly.

”An Incubus...?”

Naomi’s expression changed.

”That is so much lamer than a Vampire.”

She made a face.

Lucian’s mouth twitched.

”I’ll have you know, I am very cool.”

He defended his honour.

”Cooler than Vampires?”

”What’s so good about those bloodsuckers?”

”The fact that they suck blood...? Do you not see how sexy that is? Holding someone by their neck, touching their body, kissing their neck, then the fangs come out and bite—

Just imagining it feels much, much cooler than a sex demon.

Sex demon is just so... direct.

Reeks of desperation.”

She scrunched her nose.

Her inner nerd was out in its full glory. Clearly, she had read certain types of novels.

Lucian stared at the woman in front of him with a flat look on his face.

Was this... really the way one should take news like this...?

But then again—

This was the same woman who talked about cultivators and drugged female leads when she first had sex with him. Naomi certainly was... one of a kind.

So Lucian kept staring at her, letting her make fun of him all she wanted.

”Pfft! A sex demon. How classy~”

She spoke sarcastically, still laughing at him.

However, since she wasn’t getting any reaction out of him, she dropped it as well, then, she lowered her voice and—

”Is this the reason you were in that state when I came to your home that day?”

She asked in a serious tone.

”Yes, that was the second day after I turned. I had no control over myself. My mind only cleared up after we...”

”After we had sex.”

Naomi was direct.

”Yes.”

”You really are a sex demon, huh...”

”It’s called a Demon of Desire.”

”It’s the same fucking thing.”

Naomi only snorted.

Then, as she thought about it all—

”What about your sudden disappearance? Was it related to that as well? What about the lawyers? How did you suddenly deal with all the mess? What about...”

Naomi asked a bunch of questions and, as Evelyn had said, Lucian answered them all. He told her a little about the Enclave, how much power it held, how it dealt with the Supernatural World, how it helped him, and how he was now supposed to go on missions.

”And...”

Naomi’s eyes then turned towards Evelyn and—

”What about her? Is she a sex demon as well? A Succubus?”

Naomi guessed.

Considering how charming the woman was, she wouldn’t be surprised if that was actually true.
